Bharti Airtel has unveiled Airtel Dynamic Mobile Exchange (DME) for corporates. The solution has been developed for workforce to access enterprise data from anywhere on a device of their choice, in a secured manner, thereby enhancing the business productivity of the enterprise while meeting mobile data security requirements.
The key features of this solution are providing secured email across multiple device platforms. It also segregates personal and official email, data, applications and other documents in separate containers and allows any enterprise to launch its own corporate app store. DME offers mobile handheld bundled with mobile application with 2G/3G. It also works as a Remote Device Manager of users, devices and applications of mobile fleet of any Enterprise.
Airtel DME ensures seamless implementation of the Enterprise BYOD concept without compromising on corporate data security. Airtel DME allows employees to segregate official and personal data on the same device by containerizing the information such as emails, data applications, documents, etc. The solution empowers IT administrators to remotely manage and control the device basis individual company policy. In case of loss of the mobile device, the corporate container can be remotely locked and data can be wiped off, thereby protecting sensitive corporate information.
Drew Kelton, President Airtel Business, Bharti Airtel, said, “With changing business environment, youth-driven trends like BYOD are gaining ground in India. At Airtel Business, it has been our constant endeavour to offer innovative and scalable solutions to our customers in this changing business environment. Airtel DME provides a secure mobile solution to our corporate customers, allowing their workforce to access company information – anytime, anywhere.”
