How does D-Link meet service demands? Over the years, D-Link has been working with its channel partners to address their service-related concerns through D-Link service centres present all across the country. All our service centres are well-equipped to handle all kinds of issues related to our Networking products. We have set up Technical Support (Toll-Free No. 1800-233-0000 and e-mail service: helpdesk@dlink.co.in), Web-Based Support (unlimited access to technical documentation that includes installation and configuration guides, release notes, FAQs, and a management information database) and Hardware Support system (replace shipped product if the product is established as DoA by the Partner's inspection team within 10 days from shipment). This year, we also announced our Flagship event "Sales Pro-2010" - a 2-day exclusive training programme, to technically equip our channel partners. So far, it have successfully covered 11 cities across India. What is D-Link's go-to-market approach? D-Link has been operating in India for over 15 years and we have been growing consistently over the years. It is, indeed, the strong support of our channel partners that has helped D-Link create a distinctive position for itself in the networking space. We have a multi-pronged approach to the market. We have a strong channel network which consists of two National distributors, 25 RDs and 82 Business distributors present all across India, providing an extensive reach and availability of D-Link products, throughout the length and breadth of the country. The second is our direct approach through our 18 branch offices all across India, with our dedicated sales and support teams in each of these locations not just evangelize the D-Link High Tech Solutions range, but also support our Channel partners to win and close such solution deals. Thus, with this, D-Link is ensuring ready availability of our products/ solutions to partners and end-consumers across India. How are you empowering the channel partners? "Partner engagement" is very critical to us. Over the years, we have been organizing various channel empowerment programmes, so that partners are updated on the latest technological developments in the networking segment. One such event is "Sales Pro" - a multi-city technology education programme that addresses the networking concerns of partners' techno-sales and pre-sales team. D-Link had also launched "Connection 2010" - a multicity road show for channel partners in Bangalore, Cochin, Chennai and Hyderabad (add new partners). In addition to this, we have also set up an exclusive "d-partner" website for our channel partners, which contains huge D-Link data repository, tools and real case studies and project details. D-Link offers partner certification programmes through this partner web site, and complements this with periodic classroom training at regular intervals. |
