Cisco No. 1 in Indian WLAN Market

Cisco has been ranked the Number 1 vendor in India in the Wireless LAN equipment market in revenues in 2009, as per IDC's Asia/Pacific Semiannual Wireless LAN Tracker, 2H2009, April 2010. Cisco has been holding this position in India for three consecutive years 2007, 2008 and 2009. In 2009, Cisco held 19.6% revenue market share that enabled it to retain its leadership in the WLAN market in India.

Suresh Balasubramanian, the National Sales Director of Cisco Consumer Products, said, "This recognition is a testament to the fact that wireless internet adoption is catching up in India and Cisco has been the top choice of consumers and enterprises alike."
