Mauj Mobile has announced a three year and extendable partnership with country's major music labels like INRECO, Hindusthan, Manorama Music, JS Audio, Vani and Audio Tracs to give music and movie enthusiasts across India the taste of 15,000 tracks of music. The consumers can also avail a mixture of interactive content of films in the form of Ringtones, Graphics, Video Clips, CRBTS, Themes, Animations as well as Colour Logos, which will be distributed by Mauj Mobile itself. Mobile consumers will now have access to 40-50 new tracks every month across various genres right from retro music, bringing in the nostalgia value, to classical to devotional songs and would also help the consortium to market their upcoming movies. The agreement between Reliance Communications and Universal Music has been signed with a commitment of substantial investments to be made by both the parties to offer 360 degree music experience to customers across all platforms including Voice, WAP, Web, IVR, Blog and through On-Ground Events. Universal, on its part will offer its entire catalogue of international and Indian music to RCOM. As part of the first consumer effort, Reliance Communications is also launching 'Simply Music' Initiative across the country. This is a holistic music pack offering services like exclusive caller tunes, ring tones, Mobile Radio Web Streaming, Full tracks etc for all Reliance customers across GSM and CDMA networks. The 'Simply Music' comprises of two unique packs - Gold and Platinum. In step with its efforts to bolster its youth-centric services portfolio in India, Virgin Mobile has announced Industry-first Offering of “MUSIC UNLIMITED.” This service is a milestone in the Indian Music Industry as this is the first time that users can access a massive music library across all genres for FREE. Music Unlimited offers the freedom to its customers to enjoy any form of music be it as their Tring Tune (CRBT), ringtone (MP3/Poly/Mono) or download of full songs onto their mobile phone, absolutely free.
