Oracle's Partner Base contributes to Its Business Nationwide

A total of more than 1,000 partner organizations have embraced Oracle Applications and Technology, thus contributing to Oracle's business in the country. Part of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), these partner organizations, which include system integrators (SIs), independent software vendors (ISVs), consulting organizations, resellers, value- added distributors (VADs) and platform providers, have a significant number of Oracle practitioners who sell and implement Oracle’s database, middleware and enterprise applications products, in India and abroad.

Oracle partners contribute to a majority of its business in India and Asia-Pacific, catering to the local market needs. Oracle partners specialize in industry-specific software solutions that are used extensively across all major sectors in India, including telecom, financial services, manufacturing, retail and others. The focus in India has been to provide solutions to customers from both big and midsize enterprises. Some of the key partners within the Oracle network are Infosys, Sonata, Tata Consultancy Services, Redington, Tech Pacific, HCL Infosystems, SysArc, 3i-Infotech, Wipro, Path Infotech and many more.

Starting from the Oracle OPN Network, which powers a global business network of more than 30,000 companies delivering innovative software solutions based on Oracle platforms to the key initiatives undertaken by Oracle in FY10, Oracle has seen tremendous growth on its partner front, over time. Some of the significant projects in India where partners have delivered innovative solutions leveraging Oracle technology and applications include Bombay Stock Exchange, Punjab National Bank, Punjab State Cooperative Bank, Aircel, and Patel Integrated Logistics Ltd., to name a few.
