Buffalo Technology has announced their slim, lightweight USB2.0 portable HDD MiniStation HD-PET series which is equipped with “TurboPC” and “TurboCopy”. Available in five distinct colours (Ruby red, Pearl white, Crystal black, Rapis blue and Cherry Blossom pink) with a glossy finish, the USB2.0 portable HDD also supports “eco manager” to reduce power consumption.

TurboPC increases speed by using the computer memory to optimize reading and writing to the HDD and for caching. It also uses the computer’s standard internal HDD for caching. TurboPC also increases speed performance of the computer. TurboCopy optimizes and speeds up the standard Windows copying function.
