To address the growing demand ofz storage infrastructure and cloud computing, NetApp has unveiled new design guides and capabilities geared specifically for service providers that will help them deliver greater value to their cloud customers. The new solutions offered by NetApp will help service providers differentiate their cloud services, accelerate their services' time to market and achieve industry-leading cost and service-level benefits.
The NetApp Service-Oriented Infrastructure leverages NetApp storage and serves as the foundation for all NetApp IT-as-a-Service designs and provides service providers with a standardized and unified infrastructure that lets them consume and deploy storage, network, and compute resources in a repeatable manner. NetApp also provides service providers with a design guide that enables them to rapidly deploy DPaaS offerings, including archive and disaster recovery (DR).
NetApp has teamed with Asigra, a leading provider of cloud backup/recovery software, to provide service providers with a design guide that helps them quickly and efficiently deploy BRaaS solutions. The proven BRaaS solution allows service providers to meet their customers' demanding service-level agreements and reduce costs. Another of NetApp's solution, which is the NetApp open management capabilities will now allow service providers to leverage NetApp's storage efficiency and storage services automation capabilities, regardless of whether service providers use NetApp or another technology vendor's IT service management or virtualization framework.
