Acer has introduced an exciting offer, to incentivise its partners, called the “Acer Retail League” from February-April 2010 period. The first scheme under the Acer Retail League is called the “MS Acer League”. The scheme, as the name implies, rewards partners on pick-up of Microsoft Windows-based machines, as per the targets assigned. The scheme also rewards partners who over-achieve their targets by 200%. This scheme is a monthly pick-up scheme. The second scheme under the Acer Retail League is the “Acer Retail Cup”. As per this scheme, partners are given quarterly targets, depending on the category of outlets and are awarded with a bouquet of rewards based on achievement of 100%, 150% and 200% of their targets. There are various rewards ranging from Cash Rewards to Package Trips. “Acer, as a brand, has always been channel friendly, and constantly churns out innovative reward schemes for its channel partners. Acer, through this scheme, aims to infuse its retail channels business with high levels of energy and motivation, critical for driving sales and powering the success of the brand,” said S. Rajendran, CMO, Acer India. Acer traditionally classifies its retail partners into Acer Malls (Exclusive brand stores) and Acer Points (Multi brand outlets). These partners are further classified into Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Silver or Classic, as per the nature of their relationship with the company. The targets to be achieved under this scheme too are assigned as per these classifications. |
