  NEC expands Its iPASOLINK Portfolio 

NEC Corporation has announced several additions to the All-Outdoor products of its iPASOLINK solutions portfolio. Supporting economical and fast rollouts of LTE networks, the range of All-Outdoor products extends packet microwave connectivity at the edge of the transport network.

A common Network Management System (NMS), shared across NEC's Microwave, Optical and Packet Transport solutions, adds further benefits with capabilities for the end-to-end service provisioning and maintenance.

"These latest additions to our portfolio will match network operators' continuing need for the reduction in Total Costs of Ownership in backhaul. NEC provides an unparalleled breadth of microwave solutions that can be tailored to any type of network application, and our investments in innovation coupled with unrelenting focus on quality will continue to deliver value to our customers for a long time to come,"said Hiroyasu Ishii, General Manager, NEC's Global Network Division.

NEC will exhibit All-Outdoor products at its stand 8A125, Hall 8 at Mobile World Congress 2012, the largest event of the mobile industry held in Barcelona, Spain, from February 27 to March 1, 2012.
