client focus and strong channel strategy. VARIndia recently talked to Martin Bodley, President & CEO, Revolabs Inc., who was on a visit to India. Operation in Indian Market The fast-growing economy of India has made the country the most desired destination for all the enterprises. Revolabs is not an exception in this respect. Revolabs considers India as an important place to do business from market standpoint. Roshan Gupta handles the India operations as the Country Manager of the company's India and Middle East operation. The company's investments are on two fronts: first to increase business, and secondly working on Revolabs brand, expand its geographical reach. The booming Indian economy makes India an exciting place for Revolabs. “India is a very important market for Revolabs as there is great potential for Revolabs digital microphone solutions. Not only US MNCs and Fortune 500 companies based out of India which have already benefited by using our microphone solutions in many countries, but also from our existing market where we are seeing a lot of traction from education, hospitality and health sectors,” says Martin. Revolabs has been a leader in the audio solutions since 2006. The company is headquartered in the US where we have been selling since the launch of our first-generation product line in 2006. We have had significant business success in the North American market to date, CAGR of 94% for the five-year period. About three years back, we expanded our operations in Europe, where we are again seeing high adoption rates and significant business growth in the EMEA region. Martin sees a great future for the US-based Revolabs in India. “We look forward to providing the technology and solutions to India,” says Martin who was recently on a visit to India. He held a series of meetings with distributors, partners and clients in the country. The message is clear. India, which has become synonymous with opportunities, occupies a pride of place in the Revolabs's scheme of things. In the last year, Revolabs has refocussed our efforts on both India and APAC regions. We have committed higher resources to these regions, and are now seeing the early stages of a familiar growth cycle that we have seen in both NAM and EMEA markets. Revolabs has a large portfolio of customers in India spread across diverse verticals: Telecom, manufacturing, technology, financial sector and SMEs. Revolabs Wireless Microphone Systems provide superior audio performance for video- and audio-conference calls, distance learning, interactive learning, telemedicine, webcasts, broadcasts and other audio applications, high-quality sound reinforcement, etc. The Revolabs products facilitate natural mobility by allowing participants to move around with no wires to worry about. The Revolabs Wireless Microphones are wireless, secure, rechargeable, and flexible, and most are impervious to GSM noise. Revolabs MaxFlex technology allows the microphones to be interchangeable and seamless within the product lines. There is a Revolabs Wireless Microphone available for every application: wearable, omni, and directional tabletop form-factors, as well as adapters for handheld or ear set microphones. Revolabs microphone solutions complement with other technology products in creating an overall solution for the customer and go very well and interop with almost all standards-based technology vendors hand in gloves. Sometimes, we go the extra mile to work out solutions with these brands to facilitate our partners and customers in delivering user-friendly solutions. This strategy is working out very well as these vendors are also happily recommending Revolabs. Technology partnerships exist between Revolabs and most major brands of AV equipment like Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Polycom, Lifesize, Vidyo, Clearone, Biamp, Crestron, AMX, Extron and Nuance, to name a few. Channel-friendly Policies Today, Revolabs has been a leader in the audio solutions since 2006 that has overwhelmed the market with its performance. The success of the company can be attributed to its innovative go-to-market strategies and channel-friendly policies that have allowed Revolabs to flourish faster than expected. “Out go-to-market model is partner model. We are building a strong distribution network comprising of trained and competent value-added partners who can understand customer's needs and provide the right kind of solutions best suited to customer's business needs. We believe in a healthy partner ecosystem with transparent price strategy and support mechanism for partners to grow together,” says Roshan. As Revolabs progresses towards becoming a force to reckon with, the major challenge that the audio solutions giant has to cope with is to deliver top-of-class support to its dealer partners and keep providing more value-added services to the clients. “We conduct regular hands-on training and certification programmes for partner post-sales support teams in order to build competency at partner level in supporting end-users with quality installations and maintenance. Revolabs also offers various service packages which enable our customers to get advance replacement of the unit in case of any equipment failure,” says Roshan. Since its inception, Revolabs has been creating audio products that consistently outpace the competition and sweep the awards and accolades of industry experts and user forums.
