Samsung OMNIA HD
Now that is a big one – the handset with one of the longest spec sheets we have ever seen has just dropped on us like a bomb. The Omnia HD is Samsung's go at touch-taming the Symbian S60 and is introducing truly revolutionary stuff. Samsung Omnia HD, or i8910 HD, is larger and heavier than most other smartphones, which is not a flaw in any way. Omnia HD is a very compact and rugged device with metal frame that contains usual buttons (photo and video recording, volume rocker-control, lock button, etc.) and three usual buttons on the front side.

Samsung’s S9110 Touch Screen Watch Phone
Samsung has launched the Samsung S9110 watch phone. The S9110, featuring a 1.76-inch 262k colour touch screen display, has 40MB of internal memory (no word on expansion), Bluetooth 2.1, speakerphone, an MP3 player and Outlook email sync. Sounds like a great deal for a watch phone right? Yeah, it does, but Samsung has gone one more step ahead and squeezed all this into a body that is just 11.98 mm thick, making this, according to the company, the world’s thinnest touch screen cell phone. Available in France later this month, it is priced at €450 (approx. $639).

Tata Teleservices and Quippo Telecom enter into partnership
Combined entity to have 18,000 towers and enterprise valuation of Rs.13,000 crore. Tata Teleservices and Quippo Telecom Infrastructure announced the merger of their passive infrastructure businesses to create India’s largest Independent Telecom Infrastructure Company called Wireless-TT Info-Services Limited (WTTIL).
