How strategic is the Indian document imaging market for your company? Kindly state the market share you are enjoying at present?
The Indian Document imaging market for our company is quiet strategic. Thousands of organizations around the world use document imaging every day instead of paper filing systems. The benefits are numerous –

• Saves storage space
• Manages records easily
• Finds documents quickly
• Makes images centrally available
• Eliminates need for file cabinets
For many businesses, the focus of document management is on the organization and storage of documents. They want to be able to store documents in an organized and secure way that still allows documents to be found easily.
The market share we enjoy at present is 14%.
What will be your focus areas for the year ahead?
We are looking at a number of things for the year ahead. Expansion of direct sales operations in terms of contribution from high end machines, color & new customer acquisition, developing our existing channel and improving the productivity level of the Dealers, strengthening MDS business from direct & dealers MDS capability, strengthening service capability particularly for low end printers, establishing more IT dealers for our printer business, fulfilling regulatory requirements like BIS certification, improving the operational efficiency in AR, inventory & SCM, employee retention & Motivation are some of the areas where we would be focusing our growth plans on.
We are also planning to conduct road shows, dealer meets & seminars, advertisements on magazines and on the websites.
Which are the market verticals that you presently find yourself strong in?
We are strongest in the BFSI sector. We have a very strong hold in the Government sector though we are not leaders but are nowhere behind.
Do you have any offerings on the cloud?
Yes we do have offerings in cloud. One of the printing solutions that are built on the cloud platform is ‘Evernote’. It is a suite of software and services designed for note taking and archiving. A note can be a piece of formatted text, a full webpage or webpage excerpt, a photograph, a voice memo or a handwritten ‘ink’ note.
Are you a channel-centric company?
Yes our company is channel centric. We have about 200 dealers across India.
