Oracle has announced a new release of its industry-leading Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) System Release 11.1.2. This release introduces three new performance management applications – Oracle Hyperion Disclosure Management, Oracle Hyperion Financial Close Management and Oracle Hyperion Public Sector Planning and Budgeting as well as major enhancements to existing Hyperion performance management applications, and enhanced integrations with Oracle Applications.
Mann India has launched its mobile solution Mimo. It is the first Indian company to successfully implement a Mobile solution in one of the leading banks in the Caribbean. Mimo is the first mobile implementation providing Banking Services through USSD in the region.
IBM's Lotus Notes Traveler collaboration software will now run on mobile devices based on Google's Android operating system. The Lotus support for Android was one of the several announcements made by IBM in the mobility software arena. The company also formally opened a software development lab in Littleton, Mass.
