Hyderabad-based 160by2.com, free SMS service providers, has developed and launched an application which enables free SMS from all iPhones. The application has been developed in partnership with AhaApps.com, a US-based company with a development centre in India, providing mobile applications for iPhone, Blackberry and Android mobiles.
This recently launched application has seen close-to 3,000 downloads and over 1,000 registrations from iPhone users. Over 35,000 SMSes were sent from iPhones across 10 countries since the launch of the application.
160by2.com users can download the application from iTunes store and the application enables any iPhone located in the US, UK, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to send SMS for free to any mobile in India. iPhone users in India can also use this application to send SMS for free to any other mobile within India.
