New Arrival
OPPO has launched its latest A Series smartphone, the A6s 5G, in India, targeting budget-conscious consumers with a focus on camera performance, battery life and smooth user experience.
Priced at ₹18,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant and ₹20,999 for the 6GB+128GB model, the device will be available across major e-commerce platforms and retail outlets starting today. The smartphone comes in Aurora Gold and Plum Purple colour options, with introductory offers including cashback and no-cost EMI plans.
The launch comes as smartphone makers continue to push 5G devices into the mid-range segment, aiming to balance performance and affordability amid rising consumer demand for feature-rich devices.
Focus on Imaging and Battery Life
The OPPO A6s 5G features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor, alongside a 2MP secondary lens, designed to deliver clear images with balanced colours across lighting conditions. It also includes a 5MP front camera with a natural beauty mode aimed at preserving facial details.
Battery performance is a key highlight, with the device housing a 6,500mAh battery, which OPPO claims can deliver extended usage, including over 22 hours of video playback. The smartphone supports 45W fast charging, enabling quicker power top-ups for daily use.
Performance and Software Enhancements
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the OPPO A6s 5G is designed to handle multitasking and gaming scenarios with improved efficiency. The device runs on ColorOS 15, featuring OPPO’s proprietary optimisation engines aimed at ensuring smoother animations and stable performance.
Additional features such as AI GameBoost and AI LinkBoost 3.0 are intended to enhance gaming responsiveness and network stability, particularly in low-signal environments.
“With the OPPO A6s 5G, we aim to make premium features more accessible while delivering reliable performance and all-day battery life,” said Goldee Patnaik, Head of PR and Communications at OPPO India.
The launch strengthens OPPO’s presence in India’s competitive mid-range 5G smartphone market, where brands are increasingly differentiating through camera capabilities, battery endurance and software-driven enhancements.
