The new Nova 2 Power 5G brings a dual-tone Colour Fusion design and MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, while Ai+ Smartphone opens early testing to reviewers, creators, journalists and ethical hackers.
Ai+ Smartphone has announced the Nova 2 Power 5G, the latest addition to its Nova 2 Series, through Project Open Review 2.0. The initiative gives reviewers, creators, journalists, technology enthusiasts and ethical hackers early access to the smartphone for independent testing ahead of its consumer launch.
The company said the programme is aimed at giving participants an opportunity to assess the device’s design, hardware and overall user experience before it reaches the market. The move builds on the first edition of Project Open Review, which attracted more than 700 registrations.
Project Open Review expands to ethical hackers
With its second edition, Ai+ Smartphone is expanding the programme by including ethical hackers for the first time. The company said the broader participation is intended to strengthen its focus on transparency and allow independent evaluation of the device before its commercial debut.
The Nova 2 Power 5G is positioned around two key themes — “Design that inspires and Power that outlasts.” The smartphone features dual Colour Fusion finishes designed to give the device a distinctive visual identity.

The Golden Blue Fusion variant combines muted gold with deep navy blue, creating a gradient that moves from a warmer tone to a darker finish. The Blue Fusion variant blends ocean blue with sunset orange, giving the device a more youthful and expressive appearance.
Ai+ said the colour treatment is designed as an integral part of the smartphone’s design rather than simply an additional cosmetic option. The company is targeting consumers who increasingly view smartphones as an extension of their personal style.
Dimensity 7100 powers Nova 2 Power
Under the hood, the Nova 2 Power 5G is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100 chipset, built on a 6nm process. Ai+ said the platform is designed to provide a balance between performance and power efficiency.
Madhav Sheth, CEO, Ai+ Smartphone and Founder, NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, said, “Nova 2 Power represents the next evolution of the Nova Series bringing together performance and a design identity that is distinctly its own. The Dimensity 7100 gives it the performance foundation, while our new Colour Fusion finishes allow the device to stand out beyond specifications. But we also believe a product should earn confidence before it asks consumers for it. With Project Open Review 2.0, we are putting the Nova 2 Power to test before it reaches the end consumer”
Participants in Project Open Review 2.0 will receive early access to the Nova 2 Power 5G and can evaluate its specifications and overall user experience independently. Ai+ said the testing process will remain unscripted, with participants under no obligation to provide a positive assessment.
The smartphone will run on NxtQuantum OS, Ai+ Smartphone’s mobile operating system, and is expected to extend the Nova Series towards a more performance- and design-focused segment.
The company has not yet disclosed the smartphone’s complete specifications, pricing or availability. Additional details are expected to be announced closer to the consumer launch.
