Array unveils New Virtual Secure Access Gateway

Array Networks has announced its new vxAGVirtual Secure Access Gateway for cloud and virtualized environments. Powered byArray's 64-bit SpeedCore platform, the new product gives enterprises and service providers the ability to run Array's proven AG Series secure access gateways as virtual machines on commodity servers running VMware ESXi, Citrix XenServer or OpenXen hypervisors.

"The cloud and virtualization is changing the landscape of application networking," said Michael Zhao, President & CEO, Array Networks. "The introduction of our new vxAGVirtual Secure Access Gateway complements our vAPV software application delivery controller and is further proof of our commitment to providing customers and partners with industry-leading networking products for the cloud and virtualized data center that create new efficiencies, agility and competitive advantages."

Like Array's dedicated AG 1000 Series secure access gateways, the vxAGVirtual Secure Access Gateway supports a broad range of secure access capabilities including virtual portals, AAA and dual-factor authentication, per-user policy engines, controlled access from managed and un-managed devices including desktops, laptops, tablets and smart phones; cross-platform support for a range of operating systems and browsers, Web, Layer-3, client-server and thin-client connectivity; high-performance SSL encrypted communications and endpoint security including host-checking, cache cleaning and adaptive policies.

The Array Networks vxAGVirtual Secure Access Gateway for cloud and virtualized environments is available immediately.
