ASUS announces add-on features to Z87 Motherboard

Following the launch of an entire lineup of motherboards based on the Intel Z87 chipset for fourth-Generation Core processors, ASUS has released additional information about the Z87 motherboards. The additional features include Dual Intelligent Processors 4 with 4-Way Optimization to detect and adjust the best PC configuration based on actual usage; updated UEFI BIOS to improve usability by adding access to a wealth of new user-friendly functions, NFC EXPRESS and Wi-Fi GO! with a new-generation 802.11ac wireless connectivity and cloud-dedicated capabilities.
 
Another add-on the motherboard -  NFC EXPRESS -  allows for convenient wire-free pairing of desktop PCs with Android smart devices, quick content sharing, and remote PC control, all with one tap. Based on near field communication technology, the external NFC EXPRESS accessory enables instant pairing with Android smart devices and the included NFC tag through simply touching them to the sensor box. NFC EXRPESS also allows for password-free Windows 8 login, so users can go directly and quickly into the operating system.
 
As an added bonus, the device includes two USB 3.0 ports that transfer for faster data transfer. Onboard Wi-Fi GO! support ensures faster connectivity and makes the motherboard ideal for cloud computing.
 
The Z87 motherboard comes with a warranty period of 3 years and is available in various versions. Z87 Deluxe/ Dual is priced at Rs.26,300/- and Z87 Deluxe is priced at Rs.21,950/-.
Z87 A motherboard version is available at Rs.13,150/-, whereas Z87 Pro and Plus are priced at Rs.16,700/- and Rs.14,950/-, respectively. All these prices mentioned include tax.
