After announcing its dynamic pricing in the Southern and Northern regions, Uninor has marched towards Western and Eastern parts of the country by launching its Global GSM service in the telecom circles of Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat and West Bengal. Following this launch, Uninor's services will now be available in 13 telecom circles, taking its footprint to over 900 million subscribers pan-India.
The "24X7 Badalta Discount Plan" will offer call discounts from 5 per cent to 60 per cent with location and time, with each cell phone tower broadcasting a different discount. The discount will also change every hour at the same location.
"We make a start in these markets with Dynamic Pricing - a concept that ends the tariff raj and puts the power in the hands of the customer," said Stein-Erik Vellan, Managing Director, Uninor.
