Ā

Organizations face ā€œinformation overloadā€ as they struggle to manage more data across more platforms, and share that data with a growing number of users in a wider range of roles and skill sets. Data professionals look for better integration between diverse data sources, and to facilitate better communication between IT and the business.

Keeping this in mind, CA Technologies has announced a new release of CA ERwin Data Modeller for collaboratively visualizing and managing business data across the enterprise in support of data governance, Big Data analytics, business intelligence and other initiatives.

With CA ERwin r9.5, data modelling can serve as a hub at the centre of key data management initiatives. The new release includes support for Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop Hive, Cloudera and Google BigQuery. The new release of CA ERwin can help provide trust and accountability for data, as well as better communication and increased agility.

The rise of Big Data has driven discussion around the ā€˜three Vs’ of dataĀ  volume, velocity and varietyĀ  but the value and veracity of data is also critically important. This latest release of CA ERwin facilitates that higher level of data analysis discussion and collaboration, providing a single, consistent view of information from all relevant sourcesĀ  even as the data landscape continues to expand,ā€ said James Forbes-May, Vice-President, Data Management, Asia-Pacific, CA Technologies.

CA ERwin Data Modeller will be showcased during the fourth annual ERworld Online Conference.
