Canon India has recently launched India's third exclusive Canon Pro-Zone (professional zone) at Big Camera Vile Parle in Mumbai. The Canon EOS showroom showcases the entire range of DSLR cameras, lenses and accessories. Besides its two other pro-zones in Delhi and Pune respectively, the company has plans in the offing to open an outlet in Bangalore and other major cities of the country during 2010.
Alok Bharadwaj, Senior Vice-President, Canon India, said, "We are proud to launch our third Canon Professional Zone, that helps us reach out to our professional and amateur photographers and cater to their interests and needs. Through these stores, we showcase our technologically advanced portfolio of professional DLSRs and wide range of lenses and accessories under one roof to give a hands-on experience to its customers."
With this zone, professional photographers and other amateurs will get an experience to touch, feel and experience the Digital SLR Cameras with combination of lenses, flashes and accessories providing the right ambiance under one roof. Most importantly, customers can now obtain first-hand information on entire range of products and make an informed choice of purchase.
The company has expanded its presence to 4,000 outlets and is further increasing it to 6,000. Canon is also looking at increasing the company's retail presence and will be opening large exclusive Canon showrooms in all the major markets across India.
