Data Safeguard has announced the appointment of Ashis Rout as Chief Delivery Officer based in R&D Centre, Bhubaneswar. Ashis joins with over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, having served 25 years at HDFC Bank as Senior Vice President – Technology & Digital, and earlier at ING Vysya Bank for 8 years. A distinguished leader in data governance, risk management, and compliance-led innovation, Ashis has consistently delivered results across complex, regulated environments.

Certified in IT Governance (CGEIT) and Risk Management (CRISC) by ISACA, Ashis is a known expert in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), with proven expertise in areas such as Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Consent Management, Data Classification, Adaptive Authentication, and AI Governance. He has been a champion of next-gen tools that protect sensitive data, reduce regulatory exposure, and eliminate synthetic fraud vulnerabilities at scale.
