Dell India announces PC Week, 2013 for Working Professionals

An outreach programme Dell PC Week, 2013, designed to take the PC to the masses, has been launched by Dell India(NASDAQ:DELL). This is a 13-day PC sale extravaganza for Indian consumers Dell PC Week, 2013 in anticipation of the International Literacy Day on 8th September, 2013. The programme will include discounts and offers as well as a PC exchange offer on Dell's brand new range of Inspiron and XPS notebooks and desktop computers. Dell has also exciting offers on warranty and service extension upgrades at never-before prices to ensure that consumers will be protected from all PC worries for the next 3 years.

With PC penetration still at less than 10% in the country, this initiative is to excite and empower consumers with access to buy, own and experience Dell products at affordable prices and at their convenience.

P. Krishnakumar, Executive Director & General Manager, Consumer & Small Business, Dell India, stated, "This is an extension to our ongoing Personal Achievement Campaign which is based on the belief that technology gives the power to achieve your passions and goals. We believe that when you give the gift of technology to your loved ones, you are giving the gift of inspiration and the tools to achieve their passions. This exciting new programme is an initiative on Dell's part to contribute to the spirit of the International Literacy Day and coincides with the start of the festive season for Indians, nationwide."

With an aim to reach the maximum customer base over the next two weeks, Dell has partnered with several entities to connect with a nationwide audience through Dell Exclusive Stores, large format retail stores like Croma and Reliance Digital.
