To discuss innovations for storage challenges of enterprises across India, industry trends and best practices, Dell has announced to organize its annual Dell Storage Forum 2013 in Pune.
The forum with the theme “Optimize Your Enterprise” is expected to attract over 300 of Dell’s customers, partners and senior Dell leaders on a single platform.
S. Sridhar, Director, Enterprise Solutions Group, Dell India, said, Today, companies are dependent on organic or incremental growth in data management, but optimized information strategy built with efficiency and resiliency is important. The need of the hour is to adapt an alternate approach through right-sized technologies, solutions, hardware and management tools. The Dell Storage Forum will help address this need by serving as a platform for CIOs to gain insight on solutions that can help get the right return on information, steps to take to implement these solutions and peers who will be a testimony to what worked and what didn’t.
Driven by a focus of enabling its customers to better and more efficient end-to-end IT, of which storage is a part, the event will showcase successful deployments in storage where technical experts and CIOs will discuss the best practices for the optimum management of data. A special presentation will be conducted on how “The Mumbai Dabbawala” was able to make use of optimization to improve business efficiency.
This is the third edition of the storage forum designed especially for IT leaders and senior IT professionals, to give them an opportunity to learn directly from global experts who design and develop Dell enterprise solutions.
