D-Link has introduced Boxee Box in India. It provides an easy way to bring multimedia experience onto the television. Boxee Box is connected to Internet using a wireless or wired connection and an HDMI cable is plugged in afterwards.
The Boxee Box by D-Link delivers movies, TV shows, music, and photos from a user's computer, home network, and the Internet to their HDTV without the need of a PC. Additionally, Boxee's core social features make it easy for friends to discover new content from each other through social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and more.
Tushar Sighat, CEO, D-Link, said, "This product is a perfect amalgamation of D-Link's product engineering and Boxee services. So consumers now can quickly access Internet on their HDTV along with thousands of other applications with total ease and enjoy this new mode of entertainment through the comfort of their couch. Boxee Box by D-Link is an asymmetrical shaped little black glossy box that truly stands out for its amazing designs, plus the two-faced QWERTY remote add more zing to the product."
