Enabling users to access high-speed internet access anytime or even while on-the-go, D-Link (India) has launched two new portable 3G mobile routers. D-Link DWM-156 is a 14.4Mbps 3G USB Unlocked Dongle, whereas D-Link DWR-730 is a pocket-sized 21.6Mbps Mobile Router that also works as a battery bank.
Anoop Jarial, VP Product Marketing, D-Link (India), said, “With the rise in broadband wireless internet usage, there is a constant demand for internet devices offering high-speed connectivity. These new 3G-enabled devices from D-Link are designed to address the needs of frequent travellers, home users, and people seeking wire-free connectivity. Besides its primary function of being an Adapter and Router, it is also loaded with value-added features like built-in MicroSD card, battery bank, etc.
D-Link DWM-156 3.75G HSUPA is a USB Dongle/ Adapter that allows users to connect to their notebook via mobile broadband service anywhere. A built-in MicroSD card reader slot in D-Link DWM-156 can be used for optional removable storage.
D-Link DWM-730 is a business card-sized, portable HSPA+ 21.6 Mbps Router that allows users to connect notebook, tablet and smartphone to the Internet anytime via 3G connection. This router is compatible with a wide range of mobile service networks. It also features a 3 hours battery bank (1500 mAh) that can charge mobile phone and 5 hours of using time. Further, it also supports MicroSD card up to 32GB.
Both D-Link DWM-156 and DWR-730 are currently available all across India at an estimated price of Rs.1,599/- and Rs.4,499/-, respectively.
D-Link DWM-156 and DWR-730 carry a warranty of 1 year and 3 years, respectively.
