EDIMAX Technology has introduced Edimax 3G-6408n N300 wireless 3G iQ router.
Equipped with 300Mbps wireless speeds, automatic failover capabilities, green WLAN technology, and Edimax's iQoS for easy QoS set-up, the 3G-6408n is a clean, simple and effective solution for 3G wireless connectivity.
The product is equipped with both a USB port and an Ethernet WAN port, and supports both 3G/3.75G and cable/xDSL modems. It can easily share an Internet connection with multiple devices. Additionally, should 3G/3.75G access become unavailable, the device's automatic failover feature ensures it will automatically switch to cable/xDSL seamlessly.
Besides supporting both 3G/3.5G and Cable/xDSL modems, this router also supports Internet tethering via many major smartphones on the market-like iPhone, HTC, BlackBerry, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and other smartphones.
This product conforms to IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless standards, and is capable of reaching Wi-Fi speeds of up to 300Mbps when connected to an 802.11n device. It is also equipped with wireless MIMO (multiple-input and multiple-output) technology to broaden its wireless coverage and eliminate potential dead spots.
Designed to be energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly, the Edimax 3G-6408n is equipped with the green WLAN technology. It dynamically adjusts its power supply according to network activity and the length of cable used.
