Eastern Software Systems has announced that it has bagged an order for a Comprehensive Examination Automation System from a prestigious Indian university. ESS has won this contract post a thorough evaluation owing to its proven development and support capabilities besides its competitiveness when it comes to value proposition or price-performance comparisons.
The contract has been awarded on a BOT basis (build-operate-transfer) and ESS shall also be operating the system for a period of five years. Under this contract, ESS shall manage processing of the examination results for the University and automate the entire back-end and processes of the University's examination department like conduct, setting, secrecy, etc.

The system being developed by our experts shall cater to the information and reporting needs of various sub-sections of University's examination department. Besides this, the system shall also generate useful analytics for the top management and decision-makers of the University."
However, it is not just about making processes easier and efficient for the University alone. It will have a front-end portal for students as well so that they can log in using their unique ID or roll number and check all possible details related to examination like date sheet, examination centre address, reporting time, do's and don'ts and finally their result on the web.
