Microsoft owned LinkedIn, the professional networking site, said on Tuesday it had resolved a technical glitch on its platform, after thousands of users reported difficulties in accessing the website.
The site did not state any specific reason for the two-hour-long global outage. Taking to Twitter, LinkedIn jokingly suggested the outage may have been due to a character from TV series WandaVision. Downdetector, an outage tracking website, showed there were close to 26,000 incidents of people reporting issues with LinkedIn.
LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network with nearly 740 million members in more than 200 countries. Further, LinkedIn said an issue across its platform was causing certain functional requests to take longer or fail unexpectedly and that it was working on a fix.
Some members may be experiencing an issue with accessing LinkedIn on mobile and desktop. We're working on this as we speak and will provide updates as we have them. Thanks for your patience!" The company said in a tweet.
