Handygo, a leading player in the MobileValue added services space has rolled out its advisory services for the Fishermen for fishery across the country. The new offering would help the Fishermen have an easy and fast access to the information on the potential fishing zones, wind speed, wave height along with the weather suitable for fishing.
Handygo has tied up with INCOIS (Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services) for all technical content support. Once it has the relevant content, Handygo will process the information with the in-house experts & researchers and disseminate the information in the regional languages. Fishermen from 8 States Gujrat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Orissa, Maharashtra, Kerala and Goa, can get access to the information and other kind of services required.
"We aim at offering our exclusive services to the fishermen across the country in general and the coastal areas in particular. Through our association with INCOIS, we are aiming at providing relevant and accurate information to the fishermen community," informed Mr. Praveen Rajpal, CEO, Handygo.
Handygo is also in the process of imparting knowledge to fishermen/ fisherwomen/ processing workers, technicians, etc. in fish quality management, conservation of fish resources as well as sustainable fishing. With these services Handygo aims to help fisherman in reducing risk and increasing their productivity.
