HCL Infosystems has announced its entry into the kid's educational computing market, aiming to reach out to the children of age-group between 3 and 12 years with special education content designed for learning through fun for kids. This interactive experience has been designed to enable affordable computing for kids, backed with interactive content to sharpen the intelligence quotient of their developing minds.

With computing becoming the future mode of education, we believe learning devices backed with rich education content will engage kids to develop their intelligence and thinking ability that quickens their learning curve."
This new HCL ME computer range will include HCL ME L1-30 and L2-36 under the Junior Topper series and HCL ME L1-88 and D1-48, which is also India's first wireless desktop for kids, under the Topper series. All HCL ME kids educational computers are built on green technology and the products are recyclable with ROHS and CE compliance.
HCL Infosystems has also announced expansion of its existing Software Development Centre in Jaipur. The centre was established with the objective of designing and developing software capabilities for the company's System Integration (SI) projects. The facility with its current operating capacity of 120 headcounts has now expanded to 425. This first phase of expansion by HCL Infosystems in Jaipur will focus on strengthening software development capabilities for SI-centric projects.
The newly inaugurated facility will have a data center with disaster recovery site for its customers, especially in the financial vertical. The company will gradually expand this development centre further. With this expansion, the company has strengthened its software development practice and would focus on providing more customized solutions for its SI projects. The facility is equipped with various amenities like library, recreation centre, gymnasium, etc. to provide an employee-friendly environment.
