Supporting the company's rapid growth, Hitachi Data Systems has opened an office in Pune. Hitachi has also appointed Sushim Mukherjee as Regional Director, Rest of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. He will be responsible for driving the Hitachi Data Systems' Technology Alliances Strategy, Sales as well as key marketing requirements of the western region.

Prior to Hitachi Data Systems, Sushim was with Sun Microsystems. At Sun Microsystems, he was responsible for setting up the Regional Sales & Support operations for Rest of Maharashtra and Goa. He has done his B.E. in Computer Science and has more than 17 years of combined International experience in Consultative selling, primarily in overall system integration requirements within the corporate enterprises, BFSI and SME sectors.
