Hitachi Systems India has announced the elevation of Raj Kamal Singhal as its new Chief Executive Officer. In his expanded role, Singhal will lead the company’s strategic growth journey, with a strong focus on services-led transformation, digital innovation, strategic alliances, and customer-centric business solutions.
Singhal’s elevation reflects the organisation’s confidence in his leadership and his significant contributions toward strengthening operational excellence and driving long-term value creation.
Singhal has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s transformation roadmap across multiple leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Strategic Advisor, where he focused on business transformation, corporate strategy, AI and emerging technologies, operational excellence, and thought leadership—helping strengthen the company’s readiness for next-generation growth.
Before this, he held the dual role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Human Resource Officer for nearly five years. During this period, he led enterprise-wide initiatives across cloud strategy, digital delivery, business integration, market expansion, and operational scale, while fostering a strong people-led transformation agenda.
Earlier, Singhal served as Group CFO, where he drove financial transformation, P&L optimisation, strategic planning, and cost leadership, enabling stronger business integration and value creation.
Before joining Hitachi Systems India, Singhal spent close to four years with Avaya as Business Planning & Operations Head – APAC, supporting revenue growth, operations scaling, and performance systems across the region.
