The company is very much optimistic about HP’s growth in the region with Government’s various past and present initiatives. In a chat with VARINDIA, Chandana Gupta, Director – Sales, Techmaster Distribution has shared her views on the company’s business model, on their customer support plan, growth opportunities in the market, the company’s digital transformation journey etc. Being a sales leader Chandana feels that India’s Digital economy is expected to reach 1 trillion USD by 2025 and the IT sector will be the major contributor.
What is the company’s business model and what does drive the YoY growth?
Techmaster is a distribution company focusing on HP Commercial Range of products. We see a significant growth for PC products demand post Covid. Our intent is to cover more and more cities in UP and make HP Commercial range of products easily accessible to all customers.
Why would customers select you over your competitors?
HP is the NO.1 brand in India and its vision statement is all about designing groundbreaking technologies with a lasting impact on society. Its mission statement highlights the role that its quality products and service play in creating a loyal client base. Today’s customer is well aware of the latest technology and hence will choose HP over others.
How do you plan to support customers if another lockdown is implemented?
We work very closely with the Brand to ensure uninterrupted support to any customer needs. Hopefully, we will be able to help the customer to run their daily work seamlessly.
What are the other growth opportunities you can see along with HP?
With Make-in-India prioritized for all Govt / PSU requirements, HP has started manufacturing multiple PC products, including laptops in India, as a part of its ‘Make in India’ initiative., we see a huge growth in the Govt, PSU, SMB buying in India in the Coming months and HP will lead.
The Central & State government will also increase IT Buying due to the Digital India Program of Govt of India.
How was the digital transformation journey and how has it aided the employees and customers?
• Digital India has gained significant traction in recent years, largely thanks to the heavy government focus. India’s Digital economy is expected to reach 1 trillion USD by 2025 and the IT sector being the major contributor.
• Employees & Customers gain significantly ---- Reduced Corruption, Increase speed of public sector service, Decrease documentation, Easy to manage online storage of documents and simple & easy to use cloud space on the internet.
