RuPay is reportedly planning to feature Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan in its upcoming campaign promoting the RuPay Credit Card that works on UPI, targeting Gen-Z with instant, seamless payments.
In addition to this, Roshan will also be the brand ambassador for RuPay Prime Volleyball League Season 3, powered by A23. An avid sports enthusiast, Roshan expressed his excitement about the partnership, calling it a natural fit due to his appreciation for the physical nature of volleyball. The third season is set to begin on February 15, 2024, and will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network.
Tuhin Mishra, Managing Director and Co-founder of Baseline Ventures, welcomed Roshan’s association, highlighting his commitment to fitness and ability to inspire young athletes. Mishra emphasized that Roshan’s presence will add glamour to the league while increasing excitement and engagement.
Roshan praised the efforts of Baseline Ventures, Sony Pictures Network, Sony Liv, and Studio Next for their work on the league’s first two seasons, which saw impressive growth in viewership.
The RuPay Prime Volleyball League will feature nine franchises, including Delhi Toofans, the newest addition. The second season achieved a cumulative viewership of 206 million, reflecting the sport’s growing popularity.
The match schedule for Season 3 will be announced soon, with anticipation building for another thrilling season of volleyball in India.
