Huawei has announced that its cloud operating system, FusionSphere, scored a 3895 on SPECvirt_sc2010, the world’s most authoritative performance evaluation benchmark. The evaluation results outscored the mainstream cloud operating systems due to its world-leading virtualization performance.

FusionSphere is an innovative cloud operating system developed independently by Huawei. It features powerful virtualization capabilities and resource pool management, and provides multiple components, tools, open O&M and management application programming interfaces (APIs). FusionSphere can facilitate traditional and new enterprise services by significantly boosting O&M efficiency to reduce IT costs. How a product performs on SPECvirt_sc2010, an evaluation body with the highest standards has become a top priority for customers. According to the evaluation results published by the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC), FusionSphere outscored the mainstream cloud operating systems by running a total number of 240 virtual machines and 40 computing blocks.

“Since 2009, Huawei has continuously invested a large number of resources to develop and promote its own cloud operating system,” said Ren Zhipeng, Vice President of Huawei'’s Cloud Computing Department.
