The Hyderabad police has identified three city-based companies for having Chinese links. According to police, the companies have been put under the scanner after an investigation revealed that these firms have allegedly been using the same e-mail IDs and also have the same directors and links with Chinese nationals.
None of these companies were running their operations at the address registered with the Registrar of Companies (ROC), the police said. After a complaint was lodged by the ROC, the central crime station (CCS), Hyderabad initiated an inquiry.
As per the report, Fengfan India Networking Technology Private Limited registered with Banjara Hills address, AFK Exports Private Limited, using the Sulemannagar, Rajendranagar addresses and Tedal and Kata Biotechnology Private Limited in Kondapur used the same email ID - corporatejilian@gmail.com.
ROC officials paid a visit to the addresses of these three companies and found that they were not operating from the registered address.
As per the ministry of corporate affairs (MCA) data, Fengfan was incorporated by Chinese national Fanze Meng of Beijing. Bhanu Prakash Meruva, a resident of Chitoor, quit as the Director of Fengfan, which was operating at a co-working space in Banjara Hills.
"Ours is a co-working space, so we have given it out for rent to several firms. Fengfan came through a real estate broker. They have not been here for the past one year. If they are still using our address, it is illegal," Mohit Agarwal, owner of the co-working space, was quoted as saying.
Police said that a Chinese national Xiaokang Wang and Mohammed Safwan are directors of AFK Exports. Wang is also a director of another company HMW Pharmaceuticals with a registered address at Zamisthanpur in Musheerabad. As per the ROC data, the registered address of the company is on the fifth floor. However, no such building exists there.
Likewise, Tedal and Kata addresses were also untraceable in Kondapur. Tashi Tsering and Zhifeng Jiang are the company's directors.
