IBM Labs unveils New Partner Cloud

IBM has launched a new Partner Cloud at the IBM India Software Labs, Pune. This exciting new offering will provide select partners access to IBM's scalable, secure cloud offering and deep technical expertise from the lab in the best-of-breed IBM Cloud technologies. Built on the Dynamic Infrastructure capability at the IBM India Software Labs, this cloud manages several hundreds of virtual machines in production.

"Through consultation, technology deployment and development sessions, the IBM Partner Cloud will help IBM business partners in taking the cloud adoption in this region to further heights," said Shashi B. Mal, Director, Cloud Computing, IBM India/South Asia.

By leveraging the IBM partner cloud, partners and Systems Integrators can get instant access to IBM software and application lifecycle management capabilities in a secure and scalable cloud delivery model.

IBM's approach to cloud complements partner's current data centers with traditional development efforts and skills development plans by helping them eliminate large upfront capital expenditure on equipment and software, practise cost-effective ways to build and test Cloud solutions, reduce provision cycle times from weeks to minutes, evaluate Cloud readiness of their applications and maximize resource usage from existing investments.
