IBM’s Alok Ohrie joins Dell, Sameer Garde moves to Microsoft

 In a surprising move, Dell India is having a string of management rejigs. If reports are to be believed, Alok Ohrie, who has resigned from IBM recently, is going to join Dell India as the Managing Director and President. At IBM, Alok was working as Vice President, Systems and Technology Group (STG). His last day at IBM was April 10, 2013. Alok joined IBM in 1995.

Although, there is no official word to back-up this story, but it is expected that Dell India's present MD and President Sameer Garde is set be the new Managing Director of Microsoft India, reliable sources informed.  Sameer Garde has been with Dell since 2004.

It is worth noticing here that Microsoft India has started functioning as a sales subsidiary in India from April 1, 2013.

A spokesperson from Dell said that the company would make an official announcement very soon. Well, for now, it is difficult to say anything confirmed as none from IBM, Dell and Microsoft have confirmed the above management changes.
