Infosys BPO has announced a strategic partnership with the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and the Insurance Institute of America (the Institutes) to enrich its insurance vertical.

The partnership will enhance the domain expertise, learning and development of the employees of Infosys BPO serving Property & Casualty and Reinsurance customers. It will further leverage the Institutes' leadership position as Property & Casualty-focussed global educational organizations and use their proprietary learning platform, the Institutes Online, for training and certification of Infosys BPO employees.

Commenting on the partnership, Amit Kothiyal, Head of Insurance, Healthcare and Life Sciences, said, "Infosys BPO continuously invests in in-depth training and development for all its employees. The partnership with the Institutes will enhance our domain expertise and in turn enable us to deliver better value and tangible solutions to our customers. This partnership will also allow us to provide readily available certifications that are rich in content. This venture is a key step in our journey to provide improved services within our Property & Casualty line of business."

Infosys BPO has more than 3,000 professionals certified in various insurance and healthcare industry certifications. The company has selected courses relevant for its engagements. Through this partnership, Infosys BPO plans to roll out internal and external certifications for more than 1,000 employees in the next two to three years.
