Jivi Mobiles has announced the launch of its first CDMA mobile phone - JV C200. The phone comes with free talk time and SMS bundle from Reliance Communication. The customer can avail a bundle of 1000 minutes of On Net (Reliance to Reliance) talk time free for the first three months.
The existing subscribers of the operator with this phone can gain 200 minutes of Reliance to Reliance talk time free and all local and national SMS messages at a subsidized price of 10 paisa per SMS, for the first three months.
Jitendra Rahi, Executive Director, Conplex International said, “After receiving a phenomenal response for GSM range of phones, it was natural for us to expand our product portfolio to include the CDMA phones. Jivi JV C200 is our first phone in this technology category. We shall soon be launching CDMA/EVDO feature phones and smart phones as well.”
The CDMA phone features a 1000 mAh BL-5C battery providing 4.5 hours of talk time. It allows the user to store 1500 contacts in the phonebook, up to 500 SMS messages and supports a 4GB memory card for all MP3 content. It can work on a modem also .
The phone comes with a one year after-sales warranty supported by over 400 Service Centres across India at a price of Rs.1150 and is available at multi brand outlets.
