Karan Johar hosts Katy Perry at his residence
Karan Johar hosts a lavish party for pop singer Katy Perry at his residence in Mumbai this week. American pop singer Katy Perry after landed in Mumbai for an upcoming music festival in the city for one plus brand. The singer had opened the OnePlus Music Festival on November 16 at the DY Patil Stadium.
Katy Perry attended a star-studded party hosted by Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar at his lavish residence this week. The Bollywood biggies from Alia Bhatt to Karishma Kapoor,Kajol to the Bachchans were in attendance.
Karan, who is a self-confessed pro party-planner, will gather the Tinsel-town and throw a big cocktail and dinner night for Katy later this week. The guest list is surely gonna be super starry, we believe. This is not the first time Karan will host a bash for a Hollywood star. He also hosted grand receptions for Will Smith and Darren Aronofsky on their respective visits to Mumbai.
As for Katy Perry, she last performed in India in 2012 during Indian Premier League in Chennai. The singing sensation also got married to her ex-husband Russell Brand in Rajasthan in 2010. They got divorced in 2012. She will also be joined by international singer Dua Lipa. Amit Trivedi, The Local Train and Ritviz are will also perform at the music festival.
