Logitech Optical Gaming Mouse G400

An excellent mouse aimed at gamers, the G400 has been sculpted to fit the users’ hand and had buttons that let them change the mouse's sensitivity. The gunmetal grey finish is nice to look at. The optical sensor inside has seen a maximum resolution of 3600dpi. When it comes to speed tests for tracking, G400 scores high over other high end mice. The sensor has 2 native DPI modes, these being the settings that if the G400 had no software, you would most likely be using, 800 and 3600 DPI.  So there is no interpolation of the movement.  

This mouse communicates over USB at a blazing-fast 1000 reports per second—as fast as USB can go, and eight times faster than standard USB mice.

Physical mouse movements translate to the same amount of cursor movement irrespective of speed: <0.5% variance compared to 5+% for some other “gaming” sensors.
