Magicon has announced the launch and availability of 5-inch Android smartphone, UltraSmart Q50 Magnus for business travellers using internet on-the-go. It has the Wi-Fi hotspot generation capability which enables the phone to get converted into a Wi-Fi router enabling other devices in the range to connect to the Internet.
Jitendra Rahi, Executive Director, CONPLEX International, stated, We gather market intelligence and put the same to use while sourcing phones. For example, one of the important feedbacks we received from customers and channel partners was that almost 50 per cent of smartphone users in India do not use any data plan (3G or GPRS) due to the cost involved, and yet want a big screen Android smartphone. Our Q50 Magnus would fit the bill for them.
We haven’t made any compromise when it comes to functionality in our attempt to make the phone affordable, said CP Batheja, CMD, Magicon Impex.
