Nasscom has appointed Dr. Anupam Khanna, as Chief Economist & Director-General, Policy Outreach. Dr. Khanna is to lead overall design and implementation of policy development and engagement strategies for Nasscom and industry at large.
Som Mittal, President, Nasscom , said, "As a part of the future directions work for Nasscom undertaken by the Executive Council, it was recommended that Nasscom will need to enhance its role around thought leadership and deepen our capabilities for strategic analysis and policy formulation. Nasscom will benefit a great deal from Dr. Khanna's rich professional experience, spanning across continents and sectors including technology, industry, energy, telecommunications and urban development, especially in major emerging markets."
