OPPO launches Reno15c in India, brings premium camera and long-term software support under Rs 40,000
Priced from Rs 34,999, the new OPPO Reno15c combines advanced AI-powered camera features, a massive battery, extended software update assurance and rugged durability, targeting users seeking a reliable, creator-focused smartphone without a flagship price tag.
OPPO India has expanded its Reno portfolio with the launch of the Reno15c, a mid-premium smartphone positioned to offer long-term value through strong cameras, extended software support and durable design. Starting at Rs 34,999, the device aims to make the core Reno experience more accessible to Indian consumers seeking performance and longevity without stepping into flagship pricing.
Available in Afterglow Pink and Twilight Blue, the Reno15c blends a refined design with features typically reserved for higher-end models, including AI-driven software enhancements, creator-focused imaging tools and fast charging.
ColorOS 16 brings extended software commitment
The Reno15c runs on ColorOS 16, delivering a smoother and more responsive interface backed by OPPO’s Trinity Engine and Luminous Rendering Engine. Notably, OPPO is offering five years of OS updates and six years of security updates, a commitment that stands out in this price segment.
AI-powered features are deeply integrated across the system. Tools such as AI Mind Space help organise on-screen information, while AI Recording generates summaries from voice notes. AI Writer assists with content creation across apps, and Google Gemini integration enables natural language commands for everyday tasks. OPPO said user data is protected through its AI Private Computing Cloud, built on Google Cloud’s confidential computing framework.
Camera-centric experience for creators
Staying true to the Reno series’ camera-first identity, the Reno15c features a 50MP ultra-clear main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with a 100-degree field of view. OPPO’s PureTone imaging technology enhances colour accuracy and contrast across varied lighting conditions.
For video, the device supports 4K HDR recording at up to 30fps on both front and rear cameras, with seamless switching during recording. Creator-focused features such as Dual-View Video and on-device Video Editing 2.0 allow users to record, edit and export content without third-party apps.
AI Editor 3.0, Popout photography and a suite of AI imaging tools further enhance creative flexibility, making the device attractive for social-first users.
Built for endurance and everyday use
Despite its slim 8.14mm profile, the Reno15c is engineered for durability with OPPO’s All-Round Armour Body and IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings. A 7000mAh battery paired with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging ensures all-day usage with minimal downtime.
The Reno15c is priced at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs 37,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, and is available across online and offline retail channels with multiple launch offers.
