Pantum outlines business strategy for growth in India
With a focus on end-customer business and SMB/VAR/SI/ government and corporate, Pantum has announced its good market response, warm acceptance from the channel fraternity and its achievement details of the last six months.
Pantum has aggressive growth plans for India and aims to be among the top five printer brands in the country by 2015. Pantum will cover 100 top cities in India by the end of 2013 by offering a range of products as per the needs of the market. The company plans to extensively use the IT channel to penetrate the market, commencing with 25 channel partners and about 1,000 resellers. In keeping with the aggressive growth plans, the company expects to double these numbers in the coming years.
Ajay Sharma, Country Head, Pantum India, said, "Our robust printers which are manufactured at state-of-the-art factory and a core R&D team with experts from across the globe including professors and senior engineers based out in Zhuhai are best suited for the Indian market as they come loaded with special features extremely important and attuned to conditions such as high temperature, unstable voltage and dust for all weather conditions. Our core focus will be on more end-customer business and SMB/VAR/SI/ government and corporate."
The company has introduced environment-friendly printers for the SMB and SOHO segments in the last six months. These products are expected to offer economical costs per page over time. As reported by the company, it has appointed Accel Frontline as their Authorized Service Provider (ASP) for onsite support.
