PR Newswire announces new Enhancements to its News Feeds
PR Newswire (acquired by Cision in May 2016) in its recent announcement has revealed addition of new developments to its news feeds.
The company in a statement asserts that, in order to bring deeper news release measurement to its customers, it will be adding additional tracking capabilities within the beacons, images, logos, and links that accompany its release content. With this, it will also track its assets with an anonymous unique identifier set on the end users’ browser. This will allow the company to better understand the audience at an aggregated and anonymous level.
Cision will capture only the news release ID with the anonymous unique identifier, and will not capture any other data originating from your digital properties, the company revealed further.
According to the company, this additional measurement capability is expected to going live on or about August 15, 2017. The company believes it will have a tremendous and positive impact on the news release industry.
Also, with this initiative, it will also be updating its content licensing terms to more adequately describe today’s analytical requirements.
