QAD Inc., a leading provider of intelligent, adaptive solutions for manufacturing and supply chains, has appointed Rajeev Purohit as General Manager, QAD India, and Head of Engineering for ERP & Supply Chain. The company said the move marks a significant step toward advancing its vision of transforming manufacturing “from Systems of Record to Systems of Action,” where every worker, machine, and decision drives measurable outcomes.
Rajeev brings over 24 years of global leadership experience across SaaS, PaaS, AI, and enterprise technology platforms. Most recently at Freshworks, he led the evolution of the Neo and Data Platforms, which powered scalability and AI-driven insights across its suite of products. Prior to that, at athenahealth, he modernized core revenue cycle management (RCM) systems and spearheaded AI-led platforms that improved operational efficiency and business outcomes.
In his dual role at QAD, Rajeev will oversee Indian operations and lead global engineering for ERP and Supply Chain, based in Pune. His focus will include strengthening QAD India as a center of excellence for innovation and delivery, while accelerating the company’s global engineering roadmap.
“Rajeev’s deep experience in platform engineering and AI innovation perfectly aligns with where we’re taking QAD,” said Sanjay Brahmawar, CEO at QAD | Redzone. “Our mission is to redefine what ERP means for manufacturers — to move from recording the past to shaping the present in real time. Rajeev’s leadership will help us deliver on that mission faster, smarter, and at scale.”
“Manufacturing is entering its defining decade — one where AI, data, and platform engineering will separate those who react from those who act. QAD’s Manufacturing Platform is uniquely built for that future — combining Redzone to empower the frontline, Adaptive Applications as the intelligent backbone, and Champion AI to amplify human potential through Agentic AI,” Rajeev said.
He added that these combined pillars will enable manufacturers to “move with Champion Pace,” driving measurable transformation within 90 days.
Sanjay Brahmawar further emphasized that Rajeev will play a pivotal role in bringing QAD’s next-generation capabilities to life:
“His global experience and passion for scalable innovation will help ensure that our platform continues to deliver value at every level — from the shop floor to the boardroom.”
The company aims to lead the industry’s next wave of digital transformation — “one factory, one decision, and one outcome at a time.”
