Samsung India has appointed Atul Jain as Vice President (Sales) for its Mobile Business, wherein he will be responsible for managing the sales of Samsung mobiles nationally. He will be reporting directly to Ranjit Yadav, Director – Mobile & IT, Samsung India.
On this appointment, Ranjit Yadav states, “We are very pleased to have Atul join in our Company at a time when it is going through an exciting growth phase. He brings with him a wealth of sales and marketing experience and good understanding of the market. I am confident that Atul will help us further consolidate our position in the mobile handset market.”
Jain has handled various sales and marketing roles during his career spanning over 20 years. An engineering graduate from IIT Delhi and a management graduate from IIM, Kolkata, Jain started his career with McDowells in 1989. Since then, he has worked with renowned brands such as Coca Cola, Bharti Airtel, Godfrey Philips and Jumbo Electronics in very senior positions across various sales and marketing functions. Before joining Samsung India, he was with Sistema as its Director (Sales).
